Company Overview
Dozen is a locally owned and operated bakery, serving the Nashville community since 2015. Dozen offers an array of delicious hand-crafted baked goods made with care and integrity. In addition to their bread and pastries, they feature breakfast and lunch menus showcasing simple, seasonal, and delicious dishes. Committed to quality and community, Dozen is a destination for those seeking a delicious and comforting moment in their busy everyday lives. Dozen's bakery/cafe was opened on February 2nd, 2015- Groundhog Day! Thanks to years of continued support from our community, in spring of 2025 Dozen relocated to a larger facility and café in order to bake more bread and pastries, feed more humans, and continue to grow.
Today, our team at Dozen provides pastries and bread to many local Nashville restaurants, and serves customers from Nashville and beyond our full line of bread, pastries, and menus for breakfast, lunch, and brunch. Firmly rooted in Nashville, Dozen’s mission is to be a cornerstone of the community, delivering exceptional quality with unwavering integrity.
Our Bread
The majority of our breads are fermented with all wild yeasts for 72 hours for a crispy, tangy loaf that stays perfectly tender on the inside. We are passionate about high-quality grains, fresh ingredients, and long fermentation. Starting with our French Country dough as a base, we also rotate through many seasonal and porridge loaves featuring in-season ingredients and creative recipes from our Bread Baking Team.
Our Beverages
Dozen’s Beverage Program includes a full espresso bar as well as beer, wine, and spirits. Our Beverage Menu changes seasonally along with our pastries, allowing us to explore seasonal flavor combinations and keep things fresh. We have rotating daily drip coffee as well as iced coffee, iced teas, hot teas, and matcha. We proudly serve Crema Coffee, roasted here in Nashville, TN. Our alcohol menu includes seasonal and local beers as well as hand-crafted cocktails and our favorite wine picks. Our goal is to always have a delicious non-alcoholic recommendation for every alcoholic beverage we have on our menu.

Our Pastries
We are best known for our croissants, of which we have several varieties daily. Most popularly, the classic Ham+Cheese (with stone ground mustard) and our Kouign Amann, which we layer with orange zest and crunchy sugar. Our approach to pastries is to keep things rustic but highly focused on quality and flavor. We love to highlight seasonal produce and the creativity of our pastry team through monthly menu changes.
Our Kitchen
Focusing on fresh and seasonal fair, our savory menu changes every two months to take advantage of what produce is currently tasting the best! We source our ingredients as locally as possible, partnering often with suppliers such as Greener Roots and Smoking Goose. We offer breakfast and lunch daily with a focus on sandwiches, salad, and soups and brunch specials on the weekends. All of our food is created to highlight our breads as well as seasonal produce in order to create a small but well-rounded menu that is both exciting and comforting.
